ACT Law Courts

In 2024, Alloyfold partnered with Programmed Facilities Management to provide seating for the ACT Law Courts in Canberra as part of a refurbishment project. The courts required a durable, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing seating solution for their children’s court waiting area, and Alloyfold’s Schumann 4-seater was the perfect fit.

The Schumann seating was selected for its robust construction and modern design, featuring a steel frame and high-strength aluminium alloy components. Its comfort, coupled with its sleek Carbon Grey finish, enhanced the overall aesthetic of the space while providing long-term durability. Alloyfold supplied 24 Schumann 4-seater units, chosen for their ability to withstand the high foot traffic typical of public sector environments.

This installation was part of a broader effort to modernize the court facilities, ensuring they offer a welcoming, functional, and professional space for all users, particularly vulnerable children and families involved in legal proceedings. Alloyfold’s seating solution contributed significantly to creating a comfortable and non-intimidating environment for those waiting in the children’s court area.
